In this Pisces Full Moon chart the opposition of Saturn and Uranus is quite stark – representing the 6th and 7th Ray groups that socially illustrate the opposition of those who cleave to an inner spiritual authority, as opposed to those who cling to parental, or human-animal breeding roles, norms, and their projections of authority on to the Not-Self, the soul-less personality realms. In Pisces the individual is liable at some point to recognize that as a soul they are sexless as well as being their own mother and father [prior to, and during incarnation]. In death, spiritual or otherwise, one actually begins to experience the feeling that the primal sex relation is that of the spirit or soul to the body — Psyche kai Soma.
This Saturn-Uranus opposition representing two planetary stock groups, however, swings in two semi-sextiles to Jupiter and Venus, both involved in stimulating individualization as well as the soul.
What I would note is Heliocentric Venus is joining Earth, Saturn and Moon to act as a kind of solar supervisor, reinforcing Elena’s remarks on Venus. Heliocentric Jupiter conjuncts the Aquarian North Node in Aquarius exactly (good for Obama), with Mars 2 degrees away — these are ‘solarized’ Mars-Jupiter energies which could be interpreted as solar or spiritualized in nature. They only have demonstrable energetic effect on natal geo planets when in direct conj/opp. alignment — part of the science of Alignment. H-Mars is also 4 degrees from Geo Jupiter, which energizes the Jupiterian (geo) spheres of influence (rather than vice-versa!)
Sun Uranus takes the fire electric down to the atomic matter aspect and sets the tone of the chart, and opposes or complements the stellium in Virgo, the sign where Mother Earth is glorified (Mercury-Moon-Jupiter), again emphasizing the potential of vivifying the auric eggs or ‘spheres of influence’ and the ‘reach’ of radiatory power on all levels through the hierarchic planet Jupiter, emphasized in the chart.

Aquarius/PISCES

In the past Piscean Age (c.0-2100 AD, particularly at the Aries/Pisces cusp around 1 AD) signs and constellations coincided. In the Aquarian Age (c.2100-4200) the Precession Cycle creates two influences, one from the sidereal constellations and one from the tropical signs. Constellations rule cosmic and solar energy as it affects us directly, but only through the Sun as souls or environmentally. The Signs related to the seasons (Aries-Libra Equinoxes and Cancer-Capricorn Solstices) govern cosmic influences as they pour through the Sun and condition the planet, directly affecting the Personality or Form aspect and environment. This is why I utilize dual Const/SIGN names, capitalizing the seasonal Sign since the form and force of the signs tends to condition the constellational energy — just as for the mass of humanity the personality conditions the soul (when it should be the other way round, with the Soul in the driver’s seat), and the Moon or Form is said to condition the Sun. This is typical of the Pisces situation – the two fishes of soul and personality in bondage to each other, one way or another, while in incarnation. The energy of the constellations only begins to impact the soul directly after the first initiations of the threshold. Hence Aquarius/PISCES here.
In the Age of Capricorn, the seasonal sign Pisces will be Cap/PISCES and Aries will be Aqu/ARIES, beginning their slow substitution around 2117 at the beginning of the Aquarian Age until circa 4200. In other words, Aries will demonstrate, starting around 4200 AD, what we are/were able to accomplish in the present Aquarian Age (taking into consideration the standard 500-year transition period), and will illustrate the new conditioning influences.

The Inauguration

In McCain we would have had a Virgo with Pisces Earth and Ascendant (if his 6:25 pm birth certificate is correct), an exponent of the Piscean Age and of the past, no matter how noble and chivalrous in a feudal social order and slavish medievalist economy of consumer-serfs.

In Obama we have a Leo with Aquarius Earth and Ascendant, an exponent of the present and future "Yes We Can," who can offer the hope of humanitarian and soul values triumphing over sentimental tradition and those who would use it for obstruction, stasis and congestion, symptoms of an outworn and diseased materialistic attitude toward humanity and society. At least he will remain a precedent-setting symbol of human aspiration, even with Wall Street rumors of default this summer, courtesy of Bloomberg Report.

Esoterically, Pisces rules the Department and the monthly 'festival' or focus on the work of the Mahachohan, the Lord of Civilization. This is a period where decisions are made and emerge out of the shuffle of competing interests and group values found on the planet or in the nation-state. The Mahachohan presides over evolution emerging from the best of the past (not from napalm poisoning in Vietnam, for instance, or landmines in Cambodia). Leonardo da Vinci and Niccolo Machiavelli are good examples, both positive and 'iffy.' Leonardo, thinking and inventing for the future and painting for beauty proceeded apace while working on military projects for the Borgia military family and city-state machine. Machiavelli defended his same beloved Florence with fortification works and literary works while guiding it from the Borgia regime to the Medici European banking family.

Here it is useful to insert a paragraph on the Three Major Planetary Rays, Centers, and Departments:
The Mahachohan or Lord of Civilization, Communication, Finance and Tact rules the highly developed and active Ray Three of Active Intelligence (planetary throat center).
The World Teacher or Bodhisattva rules Ray Two of Love Wisdom (planetary heart center), which is still in latency and beginning to have an effect on human hearts and minds.
The Department of the Manu or of the human race and its government rules Ray One of Will and Power (planetary head center) –occult or deeply obscure at planetary present– expressing through true government or statesmanship of world cooperation and mutual conferencing, as well as through the rabble-rousing of gross politics.
Humanity is not quite ready to wield Will and Power lovingly or even intelligently. Its hope is the growing Synthesis and cooperation among nations that arises from and also produces group-consciousness. Petty tyrants and self-interested or narrow-interest criminal incompetents seem more common, unfortunately, among this small group of politically-interested 'actors' and fools, as distinct from governmental public servants and leaders.

In a way Pisces represents all Three Major Rays. Pisces ruling the Whole, the Unconscious, the Ocean of Substance between incarnations of Form holds these Three Major Rays of Aspect (or the Trinity) in solution, until the will and desire to manifest initiates a new form, organization, or individual in Aries. While Compassion or Love-Wisdom are the goal and keynote both for the Sun and our planet Earth, Rays Three and One tend to dominate planetary expression at present, effectively conditioning the short-term functional and operational present. Ray Two of the World Teacher is just what it suggests, a need for greater knowledge, understanding and wisdom that has a long-term focus and achieves through the growth and evolution of consciousness as it affects Ray One and Ray Three focus on force and form. Hence the 'nobility of failure' (and fear of failure) found in Ray Two exponents and work.

The feverish patient Humanity is generally seeking quick and cheap comfort and solace from its psychologically diseased and physically devitalized state – not long-term healing. It does not seem to take seriously the need for a science of reintegration with the soul and divine life (yoga), when it is not disparaging what it considers 'intangible,' immediately 'unfulfilling,' 'ineffective' (in a world of gross form and attachments), or demanding of uncomfortable discipline, self-examination and simple self-possession.

Pisces faces the discomfort of feeling in bondage to something much bigger that it cannot fully grasp or understand — cribbed, cabined, and confined as someone once put it. It knows and feels that it lives in the belly of Leviathan, and periodically this seems overwhelming to a sensitive Piscean. At some point in time it comes as a great revelation that suicide is not the answer to intolerable pain. All suffering comes from conditioning — from external conditions in the world and in our psyches that are NOT our essential Self or Identity, the inner Soul or Spirit.

The solution to an intolerable world, life or set of circumstances is to be found in a vertical direction — raise eyes and heart up and step out of the maze of conditioning, step out of the thicket or tar pit, even if you have to set them ablaze. Or look down at the earth and see it for what it truly is — a jeweled paradise of infinitely beautiful detail. Death and resurrection (reincarnation) is the way of the masses. Baptism in the Ocean of Spirit-Matter is the intermediate method of re-consecration and re-dedication to Life. Self-immolation and Self-resurrection is the way of the spirit. "I was born in (fill in year), and died many times since."

Pisces is symbolized by the Serpent that periodically casts off its outgrown skin; by the Serpent of Kundalini that gives life, healing and shaktipat; by the Dragon of Wisdom that humanity is in essence. Pisces is symbolized by Asklepios, the Greek healer with serpent staff whose priests supervised and interpreted at healing temples where the ill and suffering dreamt out dreams of their cures.

It may seem like it takes a great amount of time for a civilization or a nation-state Leviathan or Behemoth to slough off its dead skin, but it can be trusted to happen on a periodic basis as societies are renewed and reintegrated with their Life principle, which is light, love and power; Good, Beauty, and Truth. Reinhold Niebuhr dealt with this issue of collective turpitude in Moral Man, Immoral Society, positing a dynamic lag between individuals and forerunners and the collective actions of their state (and its self-willed and self-interested corporate and rogue actors).

The choice for Pisces is embodied in the question of whether the body will rule the soul, or will the Soul rule the body (speech and mind). They are both in bondage with each other, whereas in Aquarius (and Gemini) they interact freely. The marriage of Eros and Psyche is the inner challenge for Pisces, where sex and love are seen as the union of body and soul, which gives mastery of inner and outer energy and flow. The Synthesis of power, will, and Good of the Whole is the deep inner challenge, both individually and in human society, which demands an equally deep understanding of the constitution of both and cannot be accomplished without group consciousness.

Pisces, ruled by Neptune in the case of collective humanity as a unit, will play a major part in the return of the Mystery Religions to the world stage.
And Humanity, essentially Mercury, will play the part of Hierophant to itself as a Host.
