Abbreviations within the text itself will occasionally include CHs for Creative Hierarchies, EGs for Egoic Groups, Ks for Kingdoms, and RRs for Rootraces, the psychic life of a nation (not the physical/material/socioeconomic).

All simple page notations refer to Alice A. Bailey's A Treatise on Cosmic Fire unless otherwise indicated by a 2/3-letter abbreviation.   All citations to Helena Petrovna Blavatsky's Secret Doctrine are to the Theosophical Univesity Press centennial (facsimile) edition of 1988.

This set of 8 papers I have developed as a means to help organize my own studies of AAB and HPB, and I hope it will serve others as well.   Its main purpose is to clarify the distinct names and terminology DK uses throughout his books to 'place' his discourse in relation to the planes; to allow contrast and differentiation to deepen reflection and enhance cognizance of a "meticulous Entirety."   I cite chapter and verse, not out of dogmatism, but to facilitate further study and reflection.   Its main purpose is to clarify the outlines of a vast visualization form for meditative practice and contemplation.

Substantial Focus.   The Kingdoms in Nature
The goal set before the manasaputras is to become Masters of Wisdom, which is accomplished when the activity of the buddhic permanent atom supercedes the astral (511).

When the Kingdoms are seen as planetary force centers (used for expression by a higher energetic Entity), the human Kingdom is the heart, animals the throat, vegetation the solar plexus, and minerals the splenic center (1071).

Yet this is but the goal in consciousness for the 4th or human Kingdom, since the Hierarchy of the planet, the 2nd center in the planetary constitution, occupies this role at present, in trust for the developing human egoic and ashramic groups (EA 454).

It could be said that, seen as an energy center in its own right, the human Kingdom is reaffirmed here as the planetary throat center.

As a human being is a part of one of 7 Kingdoms in Nature, so a corresponding situation exists “in the life of the planetary Logos to the seven solar systems” (WM 275).

Chakra Focus on Planes.     Egoic Groups
Here, at the point at which the solar centers make contact with the brain and brain forces of the planetary Logos, are to be found not only the 7 egoic groups, some of whose members are conscious of their nature in an ashramic sense, but also is found the effect the solar centers have on evolving planetary or "lunar" substance which constitutes the Kingdoms.   And this remains the case even during the earlier involutionary period of the planetary Logos “gripping” his vehicle of incarnation through the latent egoic groups.   Our planet represents a minor center within the solar physical constitution and yet participates in the livingness of all the solar chakras;  only those centers which are major are taken into consideration in the chart of a scheme (or system).

Planetary Skandhas.     Creative Hierarchies
These two categories, brain and brain forces, with the center of Hierarchy in the background, reflect and describe the focused lower and higher personality aspects of the Heavenly Man as regards humanity's limited point of view.   This is expounded by DK in terms of the function of the different human monads in the ashramic centers of the Heavenly Man on the buddhic and higher mental planes – some units forming the centers, and others, the Identity of the planetary Logos Himself (683) while in incarnation (302).

The difference between involutionary egoic groups on manasic levels and the evolutionary egoic and ashramic groups on the higher manasic subplanes and buddhic plane seems to illustrate in close parallel the distinction between the 2 egoic rays (EP2 18; CF 177);  one represents the egoic group subray and the other the monadic group Ray (1051), the former representing the groping "Seeker" within egoic groups, the latter the more fully conscious "Friends" or "Coworkers" actualizing the Plan and performing the redemptive function in ashramic group formation.   Regeneration, redemption, and eventual salvation proceed through the evolution of thought and through the slow evolution of societal world views and paradigms, with their consequent vivifying effect upon human cultures and thence institutions and civilizations.   (True civilizing norms arise out of living human cultures, not vice versa, except perhaps in totalitarian, ideological, or techno-cybernetically "stupefied" states.   Just so, Mind or awareness of any given order rationally precedes actualization and expression of that inherent or apprehended order.)

With the 5th initiation, humanity achieves, through recapitulation, the stage of development that the Heavenly Men achieved in the previous solar system (272).   At this stage the unity of one’s Ray is established, enabling the 5th degree initiate to finally consciously recognize himself as “part of the body of the Heavenly Man” (570).

At the 7th initiation, taken upon the logoic plane (RI 733), humanity now has the choie of functioning through the IIIrd or IVth Creative Hierarchies, as it finds itself at the planetary Ring-Pass-Not (451, IHS 123)

      Son of Wisdom   (305) – “A Heavenly Man has developed Manas, and is occupied with the problem of becoming a Son of Wisdom, not inherently but in full manifestation.   A solar Logos is both a Divine Manasaputra and likewise a Dragon of Wisdom, and His problem concerns itself with the development of the principle of cosmic Will which will make Him what has been called a "Lion of Cosmic Will." (305-6)

Our planetary Logos is focused in His mental Body, though polarized in His astral vehicle (WM.390).

“The life of the planetary Spirit makes its impact via the soul,” in other words it expresses the soul-infused Personality of the Heavenly Man, Whose polarization on this level is buddhic but whose incentive is atmic (628-30), in the triadal context.   The planetary Entity’s polarization is basically astral-buddhic, in its capacity of vivifying the personality mechanism.   Our planetary Logos is focused in His mental Body, though polarized in His astral (WM.390).

Discussing the Vishnu-Surya Aspect manifesting on the 7 systemic planes, DK identifies the soul aspect of the planetary Logos as the 7 Heavenly Men in relation to the Heart of the Sun.   He then gives the names for the Vishnu Aspect in sequence as the (monadic) Spiritual Son, the (atmic) 7 Rays of its manifestation, identified in the (buddhic) Heavenly Men, who are esoterically called the (manasaputra) “Sons of Light” as the logoic Ego manifests in His physical vehicle (629).   This is restated in several places when a distinction is made between the ‘lesser’ manifesting Heavenly Men on the buddhic plane and their prototypes on the monadic (534, 271).   This has to do with the Heavenly Man’s atma-buddhi polarization as a triad, or essentially as a monad.

Having developed manas and being preoccupied with coordination of His buddhic vehicle, the Heavenly Man is working toward becoming a Son of Wisdom (305).

Chakras.
While humanity as a Kingdom represents the brain and its forces, the occult Hierarchy represents the Nirmanakaya planetary antahkarana plus the 7 Ray Ashrams and 49 subray egoic groups.   It constitutes the 3 major centers in the planetary constitution, circulating coordinated force as intelligent consciousness in the 3rd and 4th kingdoms in nature.   This takes place in coordination with a deva hierarchy of planetary substance associated with Group C of the (solar) Agnichaitans who work with the egoic body, permanent atoms and spirilla as distinct from the causal Lotus (642-3) in both Heavenly Man and man.   The occult Hierarchy thus concerns itself macrocosmically with unfolding the 9-petalled planetary Lotus and microcosmically with the lotuses of the human egoic groups.

This can be understood better in the context of the subplanes if one considers the fact that the jewel at the center of the causal body on the formless mental subplanes is composed eventually of atmic-buddhic substance (1119, 764, 710).   This is where the planetary Logos or Heavenly Man grips and controls His physical vehicle, where the 3rd and 4th subplanes meet.

Manasic focus.
It must be remembered that for the Heavenly Man, unlike man, the fusion between soul and personality is complete, the antahkarana being fully established (349).   Here the distinction between the Heavenly Man or personality/soul aspect, living through a planetary cycle (manvantara) must be made with the planetary Logos, or planetary monadic aspect, working out His Plans through a solar cycle (mahamanvantara [695, 1091, 683]).   HPB makes just such a distinction between planetary (7 Globe) and Globe (terrestrial), or greater or lesser rounds respectively (SD1.160).   It is only in examining the Globes within our planetary Chain that we can begin to see in time (382);  otherwise the higher strata can be investigated only in the light of the Eternal NOW (290, 63; RI.370).   In this context, Time is understood as a sequence of states of consciousness of form (WM.533;  CF.1032).

Since the solar Logos, limited in expressing his 3-fold systemic nature by physical manifestation, uses the 2nd monadic plane to reflect his astral psychic life (EA 40) into the human Creative Hierarchies, Egoic Groups, and Kingdom, the Heavenly Man in turn finds this plane the path of least resistance for expression on His own plane (430-1), which may be a correspondence to our monadic plane (see Manasaputra, §3).   Although our planetary Logos has accomplished on the manasic plane as a Divine Manasaputra (305), He has yet to express Himself fully on cosmic buddhic levels (due to human inadequacies, as much or more than any other factor).   His 3rd or Personality aspect is found on the 4th solar etheric, or our buddhic plane, though manifesting essentially as a divine Thinker or Manasaputra while in dense incarnation (518,_____).   He is polarized in His astral vehicle (687), which is His vehicle of clearest expression, and helps to explain the astral-buddhic emphasis in planetary life and the solar system.   Herein lies the mystery of the Agnisuryans in relation to planetary astral-buddhic or psychic expression.

This least resistance is also partially due to the duality inherent in manifestation of the physical atom by means of rotary motion — longitudinally by Ray, latitudinally by Plane (153) — expressed in the Vedanta school as the Greater Tanmatras and Tattvas.   This duality is a result of the Son's fusing of the poles of spirit and matter, and expresses itself as:  life energy and inherited skandhas (the jiva and its seven principles);  the human and deva evolutions (299);  and finally the concrete (1-3-5-7) and abstract (2-4-6) lines of plane and ray activity.

The Heavenly Man organizes solar electric force (cosmic buddhi [1226]) on the systemic monadic or 2nd plane and passes it through 3 principal vehicles or globes (spheres) in atmic, buddhic and manasic matter, passing it on through the 7 egoic groups of its (human) monadic cells (353).   The 7 Heavenly men (of a scheme [of 7 sacred planets]) carry on their Lives on the buddhic plane (121), and achieve their goal on the monadic (120), yet they could be said to be individualized or focused on the 3rd or atmic plane in their Ray aspect. They are the manifestation of the Rays on the buddhic plane (629).   Our planetary Logos has yet to focus on this 4th plane, being as yet a non-sacred planet (297).   From some angles of perception, the Earth Chain is not yet fully in existence (SD1.171).   His body of individualization is on the 3rd or cosmic mental plane, even as all that we see is found in our system, the 1st or cosmic physical plane (689).   The Heavenly Men take the 1st (our 3rd planetary collective, or 1st cosmic) initiation on this plane (627).

However, it becomes clear why the Heavenly Man on His own plane as the planetary soul aspect on the cosmic manasic and buddhic planes is said both to have His source on the (cosmic) monadic (305) and to achieve His goal in monadic polarization (120) — after having transcended all the cosmic physical etheric planes.   Just such is the case when a human entity or soul or Creative Hierarchic monadic unit (whatever name you choose to use) substitutes all his physical ethers for the atomic ethers and achieves monadic consciousness and polarization, eventually escaping the cosmic physical plane entirely at the 7th initiation, taking the 8th and 9th initiations on the cosmic astral.   Only in the case of the planetary Logos, Heavenly Man, Ray Lord, or Entity – the monadic planetary Spirit, really – He would be facing correspondences to the 7 Paths leading out of the first of HPB’s Kosmic planes (all 7 cosmic planes, HPB’s prakritic planes), and taking the higher initiations on the 2nd Kosmic (or supercosmic) plane.

The planetary lower Antaskarana, linking higher and lower mind, forms part of the 4th Path (to Sirius), which allows the transfer of the “bulk of our humanity to this distant objective” (1258) for further development of manas.

The direct impact of Shamballa forces on Humanity itself “acts as a great aligning antahkarana between the three planetary centers.” (ExH.525)

The 7 Paths unitedly form the (higher) planetary Antahkarana (RI.724).

The interaction noted above between buddhic and manasic planes in the planetary constitution is illustrated by the fact of the 2nd Fall occurring on this 4th plane.   The 2nd Fall entails taking physical incarnation by the planetary Logos (through a dense physical globe and the egoic groups) on the 3 lower cosmic physical subplanes by the hosts of monads of the 1st Fall.   Our planetary Logos' particular situation is reflected in the fact of the necessity of providing 3rd or manasic subplane (causal) vehicles to serve as "shrines for buddhi" until the manasic principle is more completely developed (_____) and manas functions purely as a vehicle for buddhi or will (atma) (684, 353).   This manasic development is necessary both planetarily and humanly, and is demonstrated by the unique situation and work of the coming of the 5th Kingdom in Nature, facilitated by the 5th Kumara of the incoming 7th Ray (441), the 5th manasic Ray of the Brahma Aspect.   It must be remembered that the 5th Ray synthesizes the 3rd Brahma Aspect, while it is the 3rd Ray which does the same for the 2nd Vishnu Aspect. However, the eventual goal of the work of the agnishvattas is to cultivate buddhi so man “can become conscious without the manasic vehicle” (703).

It is on this 4th plane of the Chains that many of the seeming discrepancies between HPB and AAB are resolved in their respective presentations of the monads, groups of incarnating souls, and lunar pitri vehicles.   All of the 5 Groups of (individualizing) Souls (EP2.20) are "lunar" in nature, having arrived in the 3rd, 4th and 5th RRs of this Round from the prior Lunar Chain.   The generic term for "Seed-Humanity" is Sishta, which is the name utilized on this Chain level, between successive Chains (SD1.182, 174ff).

The mystery of the Moon Chain is hidden in our Sun's relation to one of the seven solar systems (of the Sirian System Logos, as distinct from the Logos of sun Sirius).   Each of the Heavenly Men is a focal point for the force and power and vibratory life of seven stupendous ENTITIES (415-6), in other words the Heavenly Men (in Their soul-infused personality expression) are responsive to Sirian Kama-Manas on its own plane, or the 'astral' Entity aspect of the Sirian System Logos (of 7 suns).   This also implies that the Moon Chain was associated with one of the seven solar 'Globes' of our present Solar Chain.   It is clear that our Earth Chain will become another 'lunar' chain in the next solar system.   Just when and how this occurs and in relation to which of the seven suns is presently unanswerable.

Buddhic Focus and Seven Principles.
Regarded from the point of view of the 7 Principles, the Heavenly Man on the cosmic buddhic plane (533.II.1) is the Five-fold Brahma aspect of the Divine Manasaputra (533.III.1,2), with the 6th Principle or Vishnu aspect (533.I.3,4) at its center, the Mahadeva (Shiva) aspect (533.I.1,2) overshadowing from the 6th or cosmic Monadic Plane (403).   The name Mahadeva is chosen from among Shiva’s many denominations because it reflects the astral polarization of both solar and planetary Logoi at this stage of cosmic evolution.   This should make it sufficiently clear that our 7 "cosmic" planes are those of the planetary Logos, as a lesser cosmic Entity (393) overshadowing the 7 "non-principle" solar planes.

From the angle of vision of the great cosmic [Sirian] Entity and Vahan, or body of manifestation, on the solar planes the 7 Heavenly Men form 7 subsidiary centers of one solar center in this Great Entity's body of manifestation (296).   Similarly, by virtue of their incarnation in a (cosmic buddhic) Chain, these 7 Heavenly Men are Fohat and His Brothers (443), even though they are found manifest on the cosmic mental plane, like our Earth (not yet a sacred planet).   However, since we are dealing here with the seven, the sacred planets, they are found anchored on he cosmic buddhic plane.   Though also manifesting as Divine Manasaputras on the cosmic mental plane, as the 7 esoteric or Sacred Planets functioning as the etheric centers of the solar Logos on the cosmic buddhic plane, they are technically denominated the seven Heavenly Men.   With the Sun, they are the central focus of the buddhic principles on cosmic and systemic planes, so far as ordinary humanity is concerned (520).

We must remember the possibility that we perceive solely what we can of five planetary causal tiers of five petals each with only our three tiers of three petals, and this depending upon the stage of our unfoldment.   This certainly clarifies the proposition of human evolution proceeding along the way to becoming sequentially fully conscious solar Pitris, Angels, and Lords (depending upon which Aspect is emphasized), and thence planetary Logoi (844).

“Each one of us, in due process of evolution, forms part of one of the Heavenly Men, Who Themselves form the seven centres in that greater Heavenly Man, the Logos.   Yet, though we are merged with the whole, we do not lose our identity, but forever remain separated units of consciousness, though one with all that lives or is.   In like manner our Logos loses not His identity, even though He forms part of the Consciousness of the Logos of Sirius.   In His turn, the Sirian Logos forms one of the seven Grand Heavenly Men, who are the centres in the body of ONE OF WHOM NOUGHT MAY BE SAID.” (571-2)
 Our solar Logos being of the 4th Order, the Grand Man of the Heavens is beginning the process of coordinating the buddhic vehicle (115).   He is the heart center in the ONE ABOUT WHOM NAUGHT MAY BE SAID (511).   On His Own plane He is analogous to a Heavenly Man (295), and particularly to our Heavenly Man Who is focused upon the 4th Round at present (242, 244-5).   He has developed manas as a Divine Manasaputra and expresses Himself on cosmic buddhic planes as a Dragon of Wisdom (305, 176).   His goal is to become a "Lion of Cosmic Will" on the cosmic atmic plane (306).

  •   The Undifferentiated Logos — a cosmic Entity (62) — Sirian Personality or solar soul?
  •   Primordial Ray — Fohat and His Brothers are the totality of the Primordial Ray (of the previous solar system).
  •   Divine Ray — The 7 Heavenly Men are the informing Entities of the Divine Ray.   They make up the Body of the Grand Man of the Heavens as Heavenly Man (prana) and planetary Entity (etheric body).
  •   Cosmic Ray — 7 forms of Will are a hint of the future plans of the Lord of Cosmic Will (63), the Mahadeva Aspect.
  •   “The manifestation of the work of the Three Logoi is the expression of the mind of some cosmic Entity.” (62)
  •   4th/3rd subplane incarnation or etheric body principle (not non-principle logoic dense)
  •   “The 7 planetary Entities [astrally-polarized personality], the 7 Heavenly Men [buddhic souls] are 7 Logoi (likewise cosmic Beings) [in their capacity as souls or monads] Who in Their totality form the Body of the Threefold Logos.“ (62)
  •   The 7 solar systems affect the (human) soul on its own plane (WM.438).

    Substance.   Group C Agnichaitans
    Our solar Logos is an accomplished Divine Manasaputra on the cosmic mental plane (305), expresses Himself as a Dragon of Wisdom on the cosmic buddhic plane (176), and yet is polarized in His cosmic astral sheathe (512).   His astral polarization is directly relevant to His relation to the Sun Sirius and "Sirian kama-manas" (624).   This is better understood when it is realized that the term, "polarization," is used not to denote accomplishment or goal but the clarity of any particular sheathe which depends on the quality and percentage of subplane matter (EA 112-13).   Usually it is the personality and soul which are said to be polarized;  the triad has 9 dual combinations at a higher stage.   Polarization also represents the lower vehicle which provides the “path of least resistance” for the expression of purpose or plan on higher levels.   This naturally becomes a vehicle through which the Ego or Logos principally works, as well as the personality mechanism.   His initiatory status depends on the subplane matter of all the sheathes (EA 113), not just one.

    These seeming paradoxes in the solar Life can also be understood by examining why the solar causal body is depicted in Chart V (CF 344) as being found on the 1st cosmic mental subplane.   If we reason by analogy to certain remarks made by DK referring to the burning away of the three petals surrounding the bud in the human causal body at the end of the 3rd and beginning of the 4th initiation, and anchoring it on the 2nd subplane (714, 137), then perhaps we can fairly speculate that the burning away of the 3 bud petals themselves occurs at a point between the 4th and 5th initiations and anchors the causal body on the 1st or atomic subplane.   Near the end of the 5th degree this should indicate a freedom to "come and go" from buddhic levels, assuming this as one function of what has been called the mayavirupa, perfected by the adept (768-72).

    This parallels the freedom of the Lipikas from the ring-pass-not on planetary levels (______).   Their work with affairs outside our planetary ring-pass-not will become more active in the next and 5th Round (407).

    The Heavenly Men have this same freedom (105), and necessarily so in Their relation to the (monadic) planetary Spirit aspect of the planetary Logos, which governs the planetary Jewel in the planetary Lotus (628-30) as a spark of cosmic Buddhi (______).   On this 2nd plane They represent the solar etheric centers as planetary schemes (______).

    But in fact, “the 4th plane of Buddhi is the one on which the planetary Logoi begin to make Their escape from Their planetary ring-pass-not, or from the etheric web that has its counterpart on all the planes” [emphasis mine] (113, 111).

    Human and deva units form the SOUL of a Heavenly Man” (302).   When humans are seen in their monadic aspect or as CH units (299), it is easier to understand the work of the Sons of Desire, represented by the 7 Creative Hierarchies in manifestation and receiving “their primary impulse from the cosmic astral plane” (1225) of the astrally-polarized solar Logos and 7 Heavenly Men (687).   These 7 CHs are said to be “the expression of a vibration emanating from the 2nd row of petals in the logoic Lotus on the cosmic mental plane” (1225), which confirms humanity’s place in the planetary causal body as observed above (302).

    In the 5th Round the Heavenly Man will have perfected control on the 5th cosmic astral subplane (291).

    The next most advanced group to enter the human kingdom of souls in the 5th Round will be occupied with unfolding the 6th petal of the logoic egoic Lotus (719).

    The Heavenly Man will achieve causal consciousness in the 6th and 7th Rounds (499).

    The unusual relationship between the planetary Logos of the Earth Scheme, the 1st Kumara (366), Neptune, the One Initiator and coordinator of the buddhic vehicle, and the coming of the Lords of the Flame from the Venus chain, both ruling "Vth" Creative Hierarchies (EA 218), is better understood from the solar systemic perspective.   Neptune and Cancer, expressing the 7th Ray and ruling the VIIIth Creative Hierarchy on the verge of liberation (the 5th of 4 Liberated Hierarchies) is intimately related to the birth of the IVth Creative Hierarchy, and the awakening of the 5th Kingdom in Nature from the 4th.   They are linked with the solar Logos taking the 4th initiation through our 4th Chain (384) in this mahamanvantara (570) and represent an intermediary force between cosmic astral and physical planes, or between the "Anima Mundi" of the solar cosmic Entity (393) and its physical systemic nature.

    In other words, the 5 cosmic astral subplanes of the 5 Liberated Hierarchies, which constitute the sumtotal of manas (38), understood as "Sirian kama-manas" (624) oversee the (Sirian System 3 classes):  Manasadeva Lords coordinating buddhi;  Agnishvatta manasic angels and kamic angels (698) coordinating “ahamkara” and individualization while expressing the solar Logoic kama-manasic focus (570);  and the Manasaputras coordinating manas and communicating this focus to the 7 solar planes of our 7-fold systemic world.   (See tabulation of Manas on the 7 planes of mental awareness, RI.463.)   This helps explain why the (cosmic kama-manasic) Creative Hierarchies are negative to the (cosmic buddhic) Rays (704).   This is also attested to by the fact that it is a spark of cosmic buddhi which is to be found alive at the center of every (human) atom (1226).   HPB denominates these three groups Barhishad pitris (manasaputra aspect), Agnishvattas (solar angels), and Kumaras (solar lords associated with the manasadevas, AAB's 'sons of God') at SD2. 88.
    "The 7 Rays of Surya (the Sun) are made therein [Rig Veda] parallel to the 7 Worlds (of every planetary chain), to the 7 rivers of heaven [buddhic] and earth [astral], the former being the 7 Creative Hosts, and the latter the 7 men, or primitive human groups." (SD2.605)
    DK represents the solar Logoic causal Lotus as having 7 tiers of 7 petals each, surrounding a triple monadic Jewel (1161).

    The 7 rivers of sky and earth are under Varuna's control (SD2.606).   The Heavenly Man was called Purusha in the ancient Vedic hymns, and as Vishvakarman He was sacrificed for the manifestation of the universe (_____).   (See Yajna, 880, 81.)   These 7 Rivers of Varuna represent both the Agnisuryans of our solar astral plane and the solar Angels of the buddhic plane egoic groups of manasadevas or agnishvattas in their “second fall” onto the 3 higher manasic subplanes for the 4th kingdom in nature.   However, when it comes of the 7 kingdoms in nature as distorted by the present stage of planetary evolution nder the Great Illusion, the Grand Heavenly Man builds on the 2 highest planes through the agency of the 7th kingdom in nature, while the Heavenly Men build on the next 3 planes of the triad through the 6th and 5th kingdoms (564-5).

    The Vishnu-Surya Aspect represents the 3 planes (on subplanes ?) of the Builders, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th, especially when discussing the angelic or deva evolutions (654), and particularly in their relation to the Heart of the Sun (628), as the agents of evolutionary (not involutionary) cosmic (not solar or lunar/planetary) force (627).

    To reiterate:  “The 7 Heavenly Men manifest each through 7 lesser Entities [astral planetary Deva Raja Lords], who form the psychic centers in Their body in the same manner as They –in Their turn– form the psychic centers in the [buddhic-astrally polarized] logoic vahan or vehicle.   Each of the 7 Fires, or Deva Lords, of a plane manifest through 7 lesser devas, who form the central fire, and consciousness of the substance of a subplane.” (631)

    In the Vedic Aranyakas, Purusha was depicted as having 7 enclosing logs of fuel, and was surrounded by 3 times 7 layers of fuel.   Metaphorically, this puts him above the (septenary) Three Worlds, and on the buddhic plane with the prototypic 7 of the Ahamkara principle.


    SIRIUS [Solar Soul] NAMES:

          7 Ashrams   (RI.460)
          7 Rays from 7 Suns
          This represents the buddhic energy which flows through the 3-fold manasic vehicle through the triangle of Sirius-Heart of the Sun-Hierarchy, and which pervades Ashramic life (__ 414?)

    Just as Sirius represents the causal body of our solar Logos, and focuses the principle of cosmic buddhi on the cosmic mental plane, the electric fire at the center of every atom in this 2nd Solar System is composed of cosmic buddhi (1226).   The Sirian Law of Karma (1180) governs the 12 Subsidiary Laws (1168-80) of the Great 2nd Law of Attraction and Repulsion (568), and might be said to represent the 12-petalled heart center of the solar Logos on the 2nd plane, reflected down into the 7 Ashrams of the buddhic plane through the human 2nd-plane monads, who help constitute its form.   This also explains the presence of only Four (awakened) Lipika Lords (or Lords of Karma, Maharajahs), adjusting karma on solar levels, representing the solar Logos' presently active Principles (257), Sirius itself representing the awakening and coordinating fifth (1180).

    Why 5 groups of souls?

    Why the 4th Path or lower 4 groups must return to Sirius for manasic restimulation?

    The Lipika Lords associated with Sirius have the freedom of the Ring-Pass-Not (_______), or the boundary between form and formless realms of Buddhism, and this on planetary and solar levels for the respective groups of Lipika Lords.   One can understand this as signifying that the Lipika represent the consciousness as it passes out of the form during the dream-state or during the meditative absorptions of our planetary Logos.   They perform the same function in the solar constitution for Sirius as it conducts purposeful impulses from the Sirian System (LS.87).

    SIRIAN [Solar Monad] NAMES:

    7 Suns
    The Heavenly Man, or soul aspect of the planetary Logos, expresses Sirian kama-manas (623-4) or the 5 Sirian System manasically-conditioned astral skandhas (1st plane and 1st subplane) in the case of our Earth scheme, via reflection of the 5-fold Brahma aspect (2nd plane and subplane) on the chain level (347), stepped down by the 5 Kumaras on Hierarchic levels (3rd plane, etc.) for the round, to their planetary representatives on the globe (4th plane) (702-3), and which express the 5-fold work of Venus (5th plane) and the ray forces it channels on systemic levels through the planetary causal body as a whole through the work of the (cosmic) Manasadevas and Agnishvatta Pitris, comprised of solar Lords, Angels and Pitris (869; EP1 191) on three levels:

      1)   The sun Sirius, within the Sirian System of 7 Suns or solar systems, is the source of manas for our solar system, understood as the 7 Ray source of mahatic impulse, manasic expression, and mental conditioning as just described;

      2)   The Pleiades for the planetary scheme (7 sets of 7 Heavenly Men in forming 7 tiers of 7-petalled solar centers (petals?) on cosmic buddhic levels around the solar mental permanent atom — the 7 Heavenly Men manifesting on cosmic buddhic levels while demonstrating their effect primarily on the systemic buddhic plane from the human standpoint);  and

      3)   The Divine Flames from the Venus chain (of 7 Globes), working through our 4th plane Heavenly Man, Who fanned the human causal bodies or egoic groups into life on the Earth chain (347) for humanity, under the Three Major Rays as Lords of Ceaseless and Persevering Devotion, Lords of Love, and Lords of Knowledge (EA 188; _____).   The human causal body is essentially a receptacle on higher manasic subplanes for the buddhic principle associated with the Agnishvatta pitris.   DK calls the causal body "the shrine for the buddhic principle" (261).

    On this plane of the planetary centers or Chains, the cosmic or extrasystemic Ray, is received by centers on the 2nd cosmic physical subplane.
